The FitzWimarc School is a mixed comprehensive of 1525 pupils. It has served the town of Rayleigh for 80 years and has a long tradition of excellence in education. The school has traditional values and high academic standards. The most recent Ofsted report stated that, “The FitzWimarc School is an outstanding school.”

The FitzWimarc School believes that all members of the community have the right to:

The school will not tolerate aggression, threats, intimidation or physical violence towards our staff, students or other members of our community. Any parent or visitor to the site who ignores this will be removed and barred from the site, and may face police action. In this event the school will only undertake statutory communication via letter.
